Situated in a prime location on the edge of Sado Estuary Nature Reserve, and just a few minutes from Quinta da Comporta, Dunas Golf Course was created on 84 hectares of natural, sandy terrain, using the most advanced sustainable practices.
Among wild dunes and native vegetation, the organic design of the 18-hole course signed by David McLay-Kidd follows high standards of sustainability and landscape integration by respecting the curves of nature whilst offering a challenging and dynamic golf experience.
The uniqueness of Dunas Golf Course, a par-71 course, was recognized immediately and in its opening year it received the award for “Best New Golf Course in the World and Europe” at the World Golf Awards 2023 and was ranked 9th in the respected Golf World magazine's “100 Best Golf Courses in Continental Europe” for 2023-2024.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior, the Troia Golf Championship Course is located in the Tróia peninsula between the Sado Estuary and Serra da Arrábida.
With breathtaking views over the sea, the mountains and the estuary, this 18-hole par 72 course is known for its technical layout and the unique natural surroundings that accompany each hole.
Considered one of the most technically challenging courses in Portugal, it combines narrow fairways with fast greens, between pine trees and dunes, providing an intense golfing experience.
Still under development, Torre Golf Course will be our region's next stand-out golf course.
Designed with a focus on sustainability and integration with the local ecosystem by Sergio García, the 18-hole Par 72 course is expected to open later this year.
